Entry Requirements
- Age Requirement: Learners must be aged 16 or over. However, an SIA licence application requires learners to be at least 18 years old.
- First Aid Certificate: Learners must hold a current and valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate meeting the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
- Language Proficiency: Learners must demonstrate competence in English or Welsh, equivalent to B2 CEFR or Level 1 Functional Skills.

- Knowledge Assessment: 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQ) to be completed in 75 minutes. Pass mark: 70%.
- Practical Assessment: Observation of learners conducting CCTV operational procedures, including incident reporting, evidence gathering, and surveillance tasks. Pass mark: 100%.
